It is our favourite time of year folks and I'm sure you are asking yourself what has taken us so long to get this one to you. Something this important, something this monumental, deserves care and consideration... and my computer decided to enforce its disk size as non-negotiable and forced me to do some spring cleaning before I could even start editing but that is completely beside the point.

We are here to celebrate the Spaceys. The Spaceys are the awards given by the Canadian Space channel for excellence in sci-fi entertainment. They have a selection of awards that are voter based and if you visit their website, you too can have your say on fun categories like "Favourite Kick-Ass Character" or "Fave Character You Love to Hate". As you can see, we take our awards very seriously up here in the North.

I know we haven't posted anything for a little bit, but you will have to be patient for a little longer. Between unexpected business trips and broken equipment (all on my part at that), Eliz and I have not had the chance to record anything yet again. The miniseries, for people who think that movies are just not long enough. We have all watched them, loved them, don't have the patience for them, whatever. We delve into some of our favourites: Dune, The Lost Room, etc. Some of our not-so- favourites (Earth Sea) and some we wish they had given the miniseries treatment (Tanya Huff's Keeper series.) All the usual stuff.
